Made of extra thick braided cotton cords and handcrafted in a square shape, the basket is crowned with a contrast color gabled roof with cut-out windows. The roof of the Lorena Canals Basket House is fixed to the bottom part of the basket, leaving a triangular opening on both sides, which serves as the opening for storage.
